Copyright 6340.63
During my classes with Sam Houston State University for Library Science, I had often been assigned to read various articles on copyright, it's laws, and it's place in schools. However, when I saw that in the MTT class we would be disusing this issue as well, I was able to see that this was a very important topic that I might have underestimated. When reading up on copyright, I was reminded on fairuse and remembered how tricky it can be. There are many restrictions on items people can freely find on the internet. People would be surprised to know that many times they are not following the terms under fair use and could be subjecting them self to be breaking copyright laws. I know that I myself have to be careful with images and items I would like to use that I find online, but I know that with farther reading and discussing in copyright issues and laws, I can not only get the hang of it, but teach it to other around me as well.
